KUELAP -
THE RUINS
The ruins of Kuélap, that are to 3 000 msnm, are
characterized by their monumental condition.
They are constituted by a great platform
oriented of the south to north, that is based on
the crest of a calcárea rock and whose
construction had to demand physical efforts of
great proportions.
The platform extends along by almost 600 ms and
their walls rise until the 19 m.s On the
platform rise, put in a corner, a second and
third platform. By their extension, these flat
elevations support around 400 constructions, in
their great majority cylindrical; of most of
these only they are left the bases.
