Day 1: Arrival - Lima, Peru
We depart this evening on our overnight flight to Lima. In Flight
Day 2: Lima - Colonial and Modern
Arrive in Lima early this morning and transfer to our hotel, where rooms have been prepared for our arrival. This afternoon, we tour colonial and modern Lima before our welcome dinner. Las Americas Suit (with early check-in) B,D
Day 3: Lima - Cusco
Fly to the magical city of Cusco. Enjoy a tour of this colonial city and the Inca ruins of Tambomachay and Sacsayhuaman. Our evening is at leisure to explore as we choose. Hotel Monasterio B
Day 4: Cusco - Machu Picchu
Early this morning we board the auto railcar bound for Aguas Calientes, gateway to Machu Picchu. We have plenty of time to begin our explorations of this mysterious citadel with our guide and on our own before meeting for our private sunset visit to the ruins. After donw to Aguas Calientes and Accommodation in the Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel B,L,D
Day 5: Machu Picchu - Cusco
The morning is free for our own explorations. After lunch, we transfer back to the auto railcar bound for Cusco. Hotel Monasterio B
Day 6: Cusco
Explore the Sacred Valley, once a ceremonial center for Inca rulers. Our visit includes a stop at the local Pisac market and the Ollantaytambo fortress. Tonight, we meet for dinner and a folkloric show, bidding farewell to our companions continuing to Ecuador tomorrow. Hotel Monasterio B,D
Day 7: Cusco - Lima
This afternoon we fly to Lima, where the remainder of our day is free to explore the city at leisure. Suit Las Americas B
Day 8: Lima - Home
Transfer to the airport for our homebound flight.
