JUNGLE
AND PERU HISTORIC
( 11 days and 10 nights )
With
this program You will visit all the main tourist attractions
of the Country like: Cusco, Machupicchu, Sacred valley
of the Incas, Amazon jungle, Macaw clay lick, Titikaka
lake, Uros and Taquile islands

Day 1: Arrival to Lima. Reception in
the Lima airport and transfer to your Hotel (located
in Miraflores) .Depending on the arrival time of your
international flight we will have the possibility of
an optional visit to the gold museum (not included in
the rate)
Day 2: Lima - Puerto Maldonado. You arrive
at Puerto Maldonado, the biodiversity capital of Peru.
After a reception at the airport, you will ride to the
city center by bus. You will depart from the port and
travel down the Madre de Dios River. During the trip
you will see caimans, turtles, herons and other species
of animals along the riverbanks.
When you arrive to the ECOAMAZONIA LODGE, you will be
served an exquisite welcome drink, after which you will
have time to settle in to your bungalows and eat lunch.
In the afternoon, with our specialized guide, you will
visit Monkey Island, which is only 5 minutes from the
Lodge. During your hike through the island you will
observe extraordinary scenery and exuberant flora that
shelters a tremendous variety of monkeys in their natural
habitat, such as the Black Spider Monkey, Capuchin Monkey,
Tamarins, Squirrel Mon keys,
and the South American Coati, as well as a number of
bird species. You will complete your visit to Monkey
Island by enjoying the sunset, and then returning to
the Lodge for dinner.
Day 3: Lodge - Lake Apu Victor You will wake
up to the beautiful songs of birds, and after breakfast
you will begin your hike into the depths of the Amazon
Rainforest via specially prepared trails and bridges.
During the walk you will see the Cave of the Caimans.
Continuing on, you will arrive at the majestic Lake
Apu Victor – a lake of crystalline waters surrounded
by immense swamps and gigantic trees. Later on you will
climb to the top of our Amazon Watch Tower, where you
can enjoy the panorama of the lake and the multitude
of birds and animals – parrots, macaws, toucans, horned
screamers, hoatzins, and herons, as well as other animals
such as caimans and turtles. If you’re lucky the giant
otter will make a rare appearance. In the afternoon,
you will return to the Lodge for lunch, and then take
a canoe trip down the river to visit to a local family
living in the rainforest. Finally, you will return to
the Lodge for dinner.
Day 4: Puerto Maldonado - Cusco After an early
breakfast we will return to Puerto Maldonado for our
flight to Cusco, upon arrival reception and transfer
to your Hotel (tourist class hotel based on double occupancy.
In the afternoon :Cusco City Tour From 2pm. to 6.30pm
.This tour includes the Qoricancha (temple of the sun)
and the Cathedral . The tour drives along the Circunvalacion
Road up to famous fortress of Sacsahuaman , Q'enqo ,
Puca Pucara and Tambomachay Including Spanish and Engli sh
speaking guide. Include Tourist ticket valid for the
entrance to many museums and ruins as well. (i.e., including
outside of the City itself) ( Breakfast)
Day 5: Cusco - Sacred Valley of the Incas.
Breakfast .Hr. 9 am excursion to Sacred Valley of Incas
.Services included: Bus service to the market of Pisaq
, Calca , Urubamba , Ruins of Ollantaytambo , and the
Chinchero's market. English and Spanish speaking guide.
Lunch in a typical restaurant in Urubamba. Return to
Cusco at 6,30 PM Lodging at your Hotel (Breakfast, Lunch)
Day 6: Cusco - Machupicchu. Breakfast.Hr.5,30
am departure to Machupicchu . Services included : Transfer
from hotel to railway station, round trip Train ticket
first class (Autovagon or Inca class) Cusco/Agua Calientes/Cusco,
bus service to ruins and back , Box lunch ,complete
Ruin's tour with an English and Spanish speaking guide.
The train leaving at 3:00 pm., arriving at Cusco at
6:45 pm. ( Breakfast, Boxlunch)
Day 7: Cusco - Puno. Transfer to the train
or bus station. Ten hour train or bus ride to Puno ,
across the scenic high Andes landscapes only dotted
by small villages and herds of the llamas and vicuñas.
Upon arrival transfer to your hotel (tourist class hotel
based on double occupancy) ( Breakfast )
Day 8: Puno - Lake Titicaca (Uros and Taquile Islands)
You will be picked up from your hotel 7,30 AM, after
2 and half hours motorboat you will arrive at the Uros
island. Fishermen and hunters inhabit the floating islands
of the Uros. The residents of the Uros use the cattail,
a type of rush, which grows in the lake, to create the
conditions that ensure the islands stay afloat. The
dense roots that the plants develop support the island.The
roofs are waterproof and the houses are extremely humid
because of the surrounding water. At present they speak
Quechua and Aymara. Then we will visit the Taquile island
, including lunch in the co-operative restaurant, there
is also a co-operative shop on the plaza that sells
exceptional woolen goods which are not cheap but of
very fine quality. Taquile Island is famous for its
craft production, particularly for its beautiful textiles.
The island is narrow only about 1 KM wide , but 6 to
7 KM long, on Taquile there are numerous pre-Inca and
Inca ruins and Inca terracing . You will return in Puno
in the afternoon, overnight your hotel (Breakfast,Lunch)
Day 9: Puno - Lima. Morning at leisure in Puno.
In the afternoon transfer to the airport to take the
flight to Lima, upon arrival reception and transfer
to your Hotel , overnight ( Breakfast )
Day 10: Lima - Home. Transfer to the airport
and end of the services ( Breakfast ).
