Day 01 LIMA.- Lima.-Arrival,
reception and transfer to the hotel.
Check inn and overnight.
Day 02 : Lima .- Breakfast.
Morning free. In the afternoon visit the
Historical centre of Lima: Main Square
where you will also see the Government
Palace, the Municipality, the Cathedral
as well as the Archiepiscopal Palace. We
will continue to the elegant residential
districts such as San Isidro and
Miraflores where we will be able to have
a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean.
Overnight
Day 03 : Lima – Arequipa.- Breakfast.
Transfer to the local airport. Regular
flight from Lima to Arequipa. Arrival
and transfer to the hotel. Check inn.
City tour at fixed time, where you will
enjoy a visit to the traditional
district of Yanahauara and its Mirador,
Monastery of Santa Catalina, Main Square
with its Cathedral, Church and Cloisters
of the Order of Jesus, Copula of San
Ignacio and visit to the house of the
old Moral family. Overnight
Day 04 : Arequipa – Colca Canyon.-
Breakfast. Bus departure to the Colca
Canyon, on the way we will visit the
National Reserve of the Vicuñas of Pampa
Cañahuas, Vizacachani, Pampas de Tojras
and Patapampa; where you will be able to
appreciate a interesting fauna and
flora. Arrival at Chivay. In the
afternoon, visit the thermal baths of
the Calera and Coporaque. Check inn and
overnight.
Day 05 : Colca Canyon – Arequipa.-
Breakfast. At fixed hour excursion by
bus to the observation point “ Cruz del
Condor” where you will be able to
appreciate the spectacular flight and
gliding of the Condor as well as the
Colca Canyon. On our way back to Chivay,
we will be able to observe the hanging
tombs of Choquetico. Lythomaquets, The
Mirador of terraces and the towns of
Pincholo, Maca and Yanque with its
respective colonial churches and main
squares. Arrival at Chivay. In the
afternoon return to Arequipa. Check inn
and overnight.
Day 06 : Arequipa – Cusco .-
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport.
Departure in regular flight to Cusco.
Arrival in Cusco and transfer to the
hotel. Check inn. Free time for
acclimatization. In the afternoon city
tour within the Archaeological Capital
of America and its nearby ruins such as
Qenqo, Puca Pucara, Tambomachay and the
Fortress of Sacsayhuaman. Overnight.
Day 07 : Cusco – Sacred Valley .-
Breakfast. Departure by bus to the
Sacred Valley of the Incas. Visit Pisac
and its famous market place (Tuesdays,Thursdays
or Sundays) where one has the
opportunity to bargain the prices with
the local vendors and stroll through the
typical streets of the town. After lunch
in a pleasant hostelry, continue
excursion to Ollantaytambo in order to
admire the magnificence of this Inca
Fortress and also walk through the small
street alleys of the actual town. Check
inn and overnight
Day 08 : Sacred Valley – Machu Picchu .-
Breakfast. Transfer to the train
station in Ollanta. Departure to Aguas
Calientes in a panoramic train ride 1:30
hrs. duration. Arrival at Aguas
Calientes and transfer to the hotel.
Check inn. Transfer by bus to the
citadel of Machu Picchu (35 minutes).
Guided visit to the citadel. Return by
bus to Aguas Calientes. Free time to
enjoy the thermal baths. Overnight.
Day 09 : Machu Picchu – Cusco.-
Breakfast. Morning free. We suggest a
second visit to the citadel in order to
appreciate the day- break over the ruins.
Free time to enjoy a stroll within the
ruins, for those who wish there are
other mini tours as options such as a
hike of 5 hours on the old Inca Trail to
Wiñaywayna. Return to the hotel in Aguas
Calientes. Buffet lunch. Transfer to the
Heliport (Subject to previous
confirmation) in order to enjoy a
spectacular 30 minute flight over the
Sacred Valley and finally land in Cusco,
otherwise return to Cusco by train.
Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Check
inn and overnight.
Day 10 : Cusco - Breakfast. Free day
to enjoy and explore this beautiful city,
which also keeps the original design of
its streets and houses similar to its
Inca construction plans. You can also
enjoy visiting the nearby ruins, temples
and palaces which fused between Inca and
Spanish culture. Dinner and overnight.
Day 11 : Cusco – Puno.- Breakfast.
Transfer to the bus or train station.
Departure to Puno. Durring the journey
you will be able to observe the
landscapes of the highlands as well as
Vicuñas and Llamas. After 6 hours
arrival at ¨La Raya¨ highest railway
passing point in the world (4400 m.a.s.l)
which represents the limit of the
highlands and the Andean region.
Continuation of the journey to Puno.
Transfer to the hotel. Check inn.
Welcome coca tea in order to prevent
height sickness (3,800 m.a.s.l).
Overnight.
Day 12 : Puno .- Breakfast. Transfer
to the pear in order to initiate the
excursion on the Titicaca Lake. This is
the highest navigable lake in the world
(3,820 m.a.s.l). The legend tells us
that from the waters of the lake came
out Manco Capac and Mama Ocllo in order
to establish the Inca Empire. Board a
boat in order to visit the floating
islands of the Uros, whose customs and
traditions always calls the attention of
the visitors. They live in small
cottages and live from their fishing and
sales of Handcrafts. The Uros according
to their legend affirm that their blood
is of black colour, a particularity that
saves them from drowning in the lake. In
the afternoon visit the Tombs of
¨Chulpas de Sillustani¨ where in Pre-Incan
times the Tiahuanaco nobility were
buried. Overnight.
Day 13 : Puno – Juliaca – Lima.-
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport of
Juliaca. Regular flight to Lima. Arrival,
reception and transfer to the hotel.
Free day. Overnight.
Day 14 : Lima – Ica.- Breakfast. In
the morning, transfer to the bus station.
Transfer by bus to Ica, known as the
wine capital of Peru. Arrival and flight
over the famous and enigmatic Nazca
Lines. Return to Ica. Check inn and
overnight
Day 15: Ica-Paracas-Lima.-Breakfast.
Transfer to the Ecological Reserve of
Paracas in order to board a boat and
visit the Ballestas Islands, inhabited
by Pelicans, Seals and Penguins. In the
afternoon, return to Lima in a regular
bus. Arrival at the bus station and
transfer to the hotel. Check inn and
overnight.
Day 14 : Lima - Home.- Breakfast.
Free in the morning. Lunch or dinner in
a typical restaurant. At fixed time,
transfer to the airport. Return flight.
