Day 01 LIMA.- Lima.-Arrival,
reception and transfer to the hotel.
Check inn and overnight.
Day 02 : Lima – Cusco.-Breakfast.
Transfer to the airport in order to
board a regular flight to Cusco. Arrival,
reception and transfer to the hotel.
Check inn. Free time for acclimatization.
In the afternoon city tour and nearby
ruins, such as: Qenqo, Puca Pucara,
Tambomachay and the fortress of
Sacsayhuaman. Dinner in a local
restaurant. Overnight.
Day 03 : Cusco – Sacred Valley.-Breakfast.
Departure to the Sacred Valley of the
Incas. First, we will visit Pisac and
its famous market place (Tuesday,
Thursday and Sunday) where we will have
the opportunity to bargain prices with
the local vendors. After a pleasant
lunch in a local hostelry, we will
continue our visit to Ollantaytambo, in
order to admire the magnificence of this
Inca Fortress and also walk through the
small street alleys of the actual town.
Check inn and overnight.
Day 04 : Sacred Valley - Machu Picchu.-Breakfast.
Transfer to the train station in Ollanta.
Departure to Aguas Calientes in a
panoramic train ride of 1:30 hrs.
Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Check
inn. Drive up by bus to the citadel of
Machu Picchu (35 min.). Guided visit
within the citadel. Return by bus to the
hotel. Free time to enjoy the thermal
baths. Overnight.
Day 05 : Machu Picchu – Cusco.-Breakfast.
Free time to enjoy in the morning. A
second visit to Machu Picchu is
recommended so that one can appreciate
the daybreak on the ruins. There is the
possibility for those who wish to effect
a mini hike of 5 hours on the “Inca
Trail” to the ruins on Wiñaywayna.
Return to the hotel in Aguas Calientes.
Buffet lunch. Board the train back to
Cusco. Arrival, reception and transfer
to the hotel. Check inn and overnight.
Day 06 : Cusco-Puno.-Breakfast.
Transfer to the train or bus station. At
08.00 hrs. Departure with destination to
Puno. During the journey, we will be
able to observe the beautiful landscapes
of the highlands and the camellias of
the Andes such as Vicuñas and Llamas,
after a 6-hour journey arrival at La
Raya, this is the highest point the
train will pass (Highest train pass in
the world 4400 m.s.a.l.) continuing the
journey we will arrive in Puno.
Reception and transfer to the hotel. A
welcome reception at the hotel, welcome
Coca tea in order to prevent altitude
sickness (3,820 m.a.s.l.) Overnight.
Day 07 : Puno.-Breakfast.
Transfer to the pear in order to begin
the boat excursion on the Titicaca Lake
known as the highest navigable lake in
the world (3,800 m.a.s.l). The legend
tells us that from these dark waters
emerged Manco Capac and Mama Ocllo to
create the Inca Empire. Visit the
floating Islands of the Uros (local
ethnic ) who live from fishing and sales
of handcrafts. These people affirm that
they are the people of the lake and
through their veins runs black blood,
which avoids them from drowning in the
lake. Return to the hotel. In the
afternoon visit the funerary tombs of
¨Chullpas de Sillustani¨, these are
enormous cylindrical construction out of
stone, where in Pre-Inca times the
royalty of the Tiahuanaco culture were
buried in them. Return to the hotel.
Overnight.
Day 08 : Puno-Juliaca-Lima.-Breakfast.
Transfer to Juliaca in order to board a
regular flight to Lima. Arrival,
reception and transfer to the hotel.
Check inn and overnight.
Day 09 : Lima – Ica – Flight over the
Nazca Lines.-Breakfast. In the
morning, transfer to the bus station and
board the bus to Ica, known as the Wine
Capital of Peru. Reception and transfer
to the local airport in order to board a
small plane and fly over the mysterious
Nazca Lines. Return to Ica. Check inn at
hotel. Overnight.
Day 10 : Ica-Paracas-Lima.-Breakfast.
Transfer to the Ecological Reserve of
Paracas where we will also board a boat
and visit the Ballestas Island, which is
inhabited by pelicans, sea lions and
penguins. In the afternoon, return to
Lima by bus. Arrival and transfer to the
hotel. Check inn and overnight.
Day 11 : Lima-Iquitos-Lodge.-Breakfast.
Transfer to the airport and boarding a
regular flight to Iquitos. Arrival,
reception and transfer to the pier in
order to board a boat with destination
to the lodge. Check inn. Hike through
the jungle. Overnight. Lunch and dinner
included.
Day 12 : Lodge.- Breakfast. Visit
a local native tribe. Fishing tour and
an evening excursion on canoe within the
area. Overnight. Lunch and dinner
included.
Day 13 : Lodge -Iquitos – Lima.-Breakfast.
At fixed time, transfer by boat to
Iquitos. Arrival, reception and transfer
to the airport in order to board a
regular flight to Lima. Arrival,
reception and transfer to the hotel.
Check inn and overnight.
Day 14 : Lima - Home.- Breakfast.
Free in the morning. Lunch or dinner in
a typical restaurant. At fixed time,
transfer to the airport. Return flight.
