CLIMBING AMPATO GLACIER

(6,318 mt – 20,728 ft) 3 days / 2 nights

TOUR DESCRIPTION
DAY 01

At dawn, we will pick up the passengers from the hotel and transfer until the Sallalli area, at the foot of the mountain, by private transport. It is here where our first trek begins and we will camp at 5,400 m.a.s.l (17,716 feet).

DAY 02
The ascent begins on the second day before sunrise and it takes approximately six-hours to arrive at the summit at 6,318 m.a.s.l (20,728 feet) and then after archaeological visits we will return to the campsite.

DAY 03
After breakfast, the camp will dismantled to return to Arequipa.
