Ronald , our Leader, is one of the kindest men we have ever met- to us and to everyone in the community. He was always enthusiastic and eager to point out things. He opened up his heart to our entire family and expressed his love for the people, land, past, and animals. He went above and beyond by taking us into local people’s home and schools. If you want to meet local people and get a real feel for how they live, this is a great trip. The trip was planned in a way so that we could visit the sights with the fewest amount of tourists, which enabled us to see the “spiritual” aspects of this beautiful country. We loved the feel of all the hotels- staff were so kind and you felt like you were in Peru and not in a chain hotel.
