Day 1: Lima the city start
You land in Lima, big city hit you right away, lots of noise, lots of people. Get to your hotel, drop your stuff, and head out. You’re hitting the historic center, Plaza Mayor, the Cathedral, Government Palace, all that old-school stuff. You wander the streets, taking it all in, old buildings, balconies, you know the drill. Evening rolls around, and it’s time for Peruvian food, a real mix of flavors, trust me.
Day 2: Cusco high altitude arrival
Fly to Cusco, you’re in the Andes now, high altitude, the air’s thin. Get to your hotel, take it easy, you need to adjust to the altitude. You can walk around the Plaza de Armas, see the Cathedral, the Coricancha, it’s a mix of Inca and colonial architecture.

Day 5: Inca Trail the adventure trek

Day 6: Inca trail trek continues
More hiking today. You will continue to make your way through the trail, seeing new sights, and taking in the breathtaking views.
Day 7: Machu Picchu the lost city
Machu Picchu day, you’re taking a train to Aguas Calientes, then a bus up to the ruins. You’re walking around, seeing the terraces, temples, palaces, it’s mind-blowing. You’re taking pictures, soaking it all in, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Day 8: Cusco city exploring
You’ve got a free day in Cusco, you can visit museums, go shopping, try some local food, just wander around. You can go back to your favorite spots from day 2.
Day 9: Cusco more to see
Another day in Cusco, you can explore some more, visit places you missed, try some more Peruvian food, relax, whatever you feel like.
Day 10: Cusco final day
Last day in Cusco, you can revisit your favorite spots, do some last-minute shopping, enjoy the city one last time.
Day 11: Lima heading home
You’re flying back to Lima today, then it’s time to head home. You’ve got a ton of memories from your trip, mountains, ancient ruins, you’ve seen it all.
