A 2-day visit to Machu Picchu begins with a train ride on the comfortable Vistadome train up to the “Lost City of the Incas.” A knowledgeable guide shares some of the theories explaining Machu Picchu’s existence. An overnight at the base of Machu Picchu allows us a second, unplanned day to explore on our own when most of the tourists are gone. Return to Cuzco on the evening of day five and enjoy a free evening. (2B,2L)
